Let's Talk Lanterns!
Frankly, I am a little surprised at the abundance of Lanterns used in both Indoor and Outdoor Lighting today. It seems I was operating under the notion that Lanterns were exclusive to the Northern part of the country and those with a more traditional point of view. Though several designers have opted to bring a modernized Lantern style to the forefront in design, I am WOWED by the variety of options and uses for Lanterns available as you design your home lighting.
The Pandemic we have all lived through has created a lifestyle pivot for many and you can see that reflected in interior design. The desire is still for clean lines and no clutter, but also for a place to reflect, be comfortable and productive simultaneously.
